British Prime Minister Theresa May is due to publish a document, outlining her post-Brexit plans to allow EU citizens to continue living in the United Kingdom.
Britain’s government announced on Thursday that the UK will give all EU citizens the right to stay in the country after Brexit in March 2019, and will grant those who have been residents for five years or more, the same rights to welfare, pensions and education as British citizens.
However, European Council President Donald Tusk said it would make the situation for EU citizens in the UK worse, as the offer is well below expectations.
