Man arrested after hostage incident at Dutch radio station

A knife-wielding man has been arrested after taking a woman hostage at the building of a radio station in the Netherlands, Reuters reported.
The woman has since been released, the news agency said.
The man threatened the woman, an employee at 3FM in Hilversum, with a knife in a parking lot next to the building and forced her to take him inside, police said.
The incident follows the departure of one of the station's most popular disk jockeys on Wednesday.
DJ Giel Beelen announced he was leaving the station after 19 years, with some speculating he had accepted a job with a different broadcaster.
