Chinese tourist’s death in Bali under investigation

One Chinese national was killed on the Indonesian island of Bali early Friday morning, the Chinese Consulate General in Denpasar confirmed.
The victim, Wu Yali, was born in 1966 and came from north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, according to her passport.
Wu was running a real estate business in Mengwi, and had been living in a holiday villa with her daughter's family for about four months.
The incident took place at around 3 a.m. local time when the victim’s 31-year-old daughter heard Wu's calling for help, she was then seen lying in a pool of blood in front of the room on the second floor.

The on-site authorities found several knife wounds on Wu's body, and a fatal one in her chest.
The Chinese Consulate General in Denpasar is paying close attention on this case and has sent staff to get more information about the case.
The police are currently conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death while the investigation continues.
