The UK prime minister's office says the country will continue to discuss the final "Brexit" settlement with its devolved governments on the British Isles. The statement came after the Scottish first minister said the parliament in Edinburgh would not consent to Theresa May's European Union Bill in its current form. The two governments are in dispute over how powers, which are currently exercised from Brussels, will be distributed after the UK leaves the EU.
