After a 10-month layoff due to a back surgery, Tiger Woods made his comeback at the 2017 Hero World Challenge to be held in the Bahamas on Thursday.
The 41-year-old 14-time major champion fired a three-under-par 69 in the opening round of the Hero World Challenge.
"I thought I did great," said Woods, who is three shots back from leader Tommy Fleetwood, who posted a six-under-par 66.
"I hadn't played in a while after some difficulties, so to come out here and score like I did was nice," Woods added.

Wood has not played since withdrawing from the Dubai Desert Classic due to injury in February. He said he does not want to push himself hard and just want to give himself a chance to compete this week.
"It's been a very long time, and I'm really looking forward to getting out there and having a good time.”
Woods underwent another operation on his back in April and was arrested for driving under the influence in May.
