[]
To the United Kingdom now, where traces of nerve agent used in the suspected attempted murder of a Russian ex-spy have been found in a pub and restaurant he visited in Salisbury. Up to 500 people who visited the Mill pub and the Zizzi restaurant were asked to wash their clothes and belongings as a precaution.
In a press conference Sunday, authorities said there was no evidence of a wider public health risk. Police also urged anyone with possible tips to contact authorities. Large parts of the city remain cordoned off as the investigation continues. The March 4th attack on former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia is being treated by detectives as attempted murder. The pair were found slumped on a bench in Salisbury. They remain in critical but stable condition in hospital.
