China's Ministry of Commerce has just held a press conference to provide new details on the country's consumption and service trade from January to April. CGTN reporter Wang Hui raised the question on what China is doing in regards to telecommunications company ZTE to continue doing business in the US.

GAO FENG, SPOKESPERSON CHINESE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE "We will safeguard our own interests and will take China's core interests to carry out negotiations. China is working on upgrading its industrial structure, and Chinese people want a better life and better quality, so China would like to work with other countries including the US to expand imports and also welcome companies from around the world including the US to do business in China. And we also hope the US will cancel their unnecessary limitations and increase supply abilities."
