Residents in Sydney have welcomed the New Year with a breathtaking show of fireworks. The entire show in Sydney was operated by 16 computers, with the sequences involving 20,000 fireworks shooting from the Sydney Harbour Bridge and floating barges timed "to a hundredth of a second”.
