A next-generation Chinese rocket is one step closer to launching into orbit. The Long March five-B has entered the "model testing" phase in preparation for China's space station missions. It's an upgrade of the existing Long March-five rocket. With a capacity of 22 tonnes, the new rocket will be able to carry the most amount of cargo than any previous version. It will play a key role in China's aspiration of building a new space station by around 2022. The rocket is scheduled to have its first launch in June of next year.
