The Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) recently introduced facial recognition technology at some ATMs in Shanghai. Cameras installed on ATMs can capture the facial features of customers and compare them with the photos on their ID cards. To finalize any transaction, consumers need to input their phone or ID card number.
