Wooden Skyscraper: Japanese company looking to construct 70-storey highrise

A Japanese company is looking to construct a 70-storey skyscraper made primarily of "wood". The plan includes balconies on all four sides that, the company says, will "offer a view of biodiversity in an urban setting". The 350-meter-skyscraper will comprise of 180,000 cubic meters of indigenous wood, and its construction cost is said to be twice as much as a conventional high-rise building.
