Dr Dhilung Kirat, 34, captured the phenomenon, which saw debris, caused from explosive reactions when the hot lava entered the cold sea, reach the cliff top. He said: "It was very surreal to see this. It sounded like a landslide or an avalanche.” /VCG Photo
