Six Russian warplanes have launched a coordinated strike on ISIL targets in the Syrian province of Deir al Zor. The Russian defense ministry said that Russian Tu-22 bombers flew from an air base in Russia over Iraq and Iran to make the strike. The targets included a plant producing munitions and explosives, stores with ammunition and weapons, as well as military hardware used by ISIL militants.
