He Jian, one of China’s most wanted fugitives has returned to China and turned himself in to the police on Tuesday, making him the first fugitive to return since the conclusion of the 19th CPC National Congress.
He, the former general manager at Fangda Real Estate of Hebei Port Group Co., LTD, was suspected of bribery and corruption and fled to Canada in September 2010.
He was number 68 on China's top 100 fugitives, listed as an Interpol "red notice," and the 49th fugitive to return so far.
