A massive power outage affected 6.88 million homes in 17 counties and cities in Taiwan on Tuesday afternoon, the island's economic authority has said. Human error during the supply of natural gas to the Tatan Power Plant in Taoyuan caused six generators to stop working. Tatan is Taiwan's major natural gas power plant. Power was fully restored across the island by Wednesday, local media reported.
