3 killed, 10 seriously injured in Italy train derailment

At least three people were killed when a commuter train derailed in Pioltello en route to Milan, Italian news channel Rai News reported. 
The incident happened at around 7 a.m. on Thursday. Local media, citing technicians, believes it may have been caused by a track failure.
A further 10 people were seriously injured in the incident, local news agency ANSA said.
AFP, quoting an emergency services official, said around 100 other people sustained light injuries, 
Local media says the number of casualties is likely to rise. 
Following the derailment, authorities announced delays to train services running between northern Milan and Venice.
