Iraqi military closes in on ISIL in Mosul Old City

The Iraqi military has closed in on ISIL forces in Mosul’s Old City.

The number of militants in Mosul has dropped from thousands at its peak to just hundreds now.

But alongside the insurgents holed up in the area, large numbers of civilians also remain trapped.
