Pakistani Army said a 12-year-old boy was killed and four others injured in the latest incident of firing by Indian troops.
In a statement, the army said the Indian side had targeted innocent civilians in the villages of Gheekot and Mandal in Lipa, where civilians were preparing for Friday prayers.
New Delhi said three Indian soldiers were shot dead by Pakistani troops and three army posts were also destroyed.
Pakistan and India had declared ceasefire along the LoC, the de facto border, between the two rivals in disputed Kashmir, in 2003. However, both sides routinely accuse each other of ceasefire violations.
