Villagers in Mazhuang, east China's Jiangsu Province, did not miss on the chance to meet President Xi Jinping up close, surrounding him and shaking hands with him.

President Xi was visiting the village as part of his two-day inspection tour in Xuzhou. He spoke to the villagers, and wished they stay healthy and happy, hoping they enjoy a better life.

The warm meeting was filled with applause, laughter and cheers.
