The row between the UK and Russia over the poisoning of a former Russian double agent is heating up. Since March 4th, Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia have been unconscious in a hospital after being exposed to a nerve agent in the UK.
British media and politicians have pointed the finger at Russia, sparking an angry response from Moscow. Britain identified the substance as part of the highly-lethal Novichok group of nerve agents, developed by the Soviet military in the 1970s and 1980s.
British Prime Minister Theresa May says Russia is "highly likely" to be behind the attack, giving Moscow until midnight Tuesday to provide answers on this issue. If Russia does not provide any relevant evidence, Britain will announce sanctions.
