Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score in every Champions League group game as Real Madrid won an entertaining encounter 3-2 on Wednesday at home against Borussia Dortmund.
Real Madrid were already guaranteed a spot in the round of 16 as runners-up in Group H to Tottenham Hostpur. Dortmund crashed out, but, despite the loss, still advanced into the next round of the Europa League.
Real's Spanish striker Borja Mayoral got his first Champions League goal in the eighth minute with a chipped finish from close range, while four minutes later Ronaldo sent a wonderful curled shot into the top corner to make it 2-0.

Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang led a short-lived comeback by scoring either side of the break to even the score for the Germans, who have failed to win a game in their group stage campaign.
Real avoided a draw as Lucas Vazquez would grab the winner nine minutes from time to end their group campaign with 13 points.
