At least 30 people were killed, including 27 school children after a school bus plunged off a mountain road in Nurpur city in India's northern state of Himachal Pradesh on Monday evening, Reuters reported citing two police officers.
The bus carrying students aged 10 to 12 fell into a gorge near Nurpur where the students were studying. Two teachers and the driver also died in the accident.
Three children with head injuries were taken to a
government hospital, according to the report.
The investigation into the cause of the incident is still underway.
