Tourists are swarming to Turpan in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to enjoy the amazing winter scenes at the country's lowest lake. The Aydingkol Lake is over 154 meters below sea level, the second lowest in the world, after the Dead Sea. The vast ice makes the lake a natural skating rink, attracting visitors from across the world.
