Syrian President Bashar al-Assad visited Eastern Ghouta to inspect his troops.
They've been in a fierce fight for the rebel enclave near Damascus. Syrian soldiers appear close to defeating the last major opposition stronghold.
Russia's defense ministry says more than six-thousand people have left the area since Monday morning. A British-based monitor says the Syrian government now controls more than 80-percent of the area, which rebels seized in 2012.
