The death toll in a four-story building collapse in the Indian city of Mumbai has risen to 17, officials said on Wednesday.
The incident took place in the city's eastern suburb of Ghatkopar on Tuesday morning.
A total of 28 people have been rescued, Tanaji Kamble, a disaster management spokesman for Mumbai's civic administrative body, told AFP.

The ground floor of the building housed a nursing home, which was vacant, while it is reported that around 15 families lived in the building.
Building collapses are not uncommon in India, where many buildings are constructed illegally without following proper practices or executing proper safety measures.
The injured were taken to hospitals for treatment. The cause of the accident remains unknown, while search and rescue operations are underway.
