In a daring act to save lives and damages, two brave firefighters carried a blazing propane cylinder downstairs from a six-floor apartment before extinguishing it in Zhongshan City, south China's Guangdong Province on Tuesday evening.
A neighbor had already evacuated nearby residents by the time firefighters arrived at the site. The rescuers broke into the locked room and found two sources of fire near the nozzle of the tank.
The blazing propane cylinder could explode at any time, but the firefighters still carried it out so that the residents won't be in danger.
The two firefighters sustained minor injuries. They also rescued a resident trapped on a rooftop. None of the inhabitants were injured in the accident.
