Chinese vice premier meets Saudi energy minister

Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli has met with Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih in Beijing.
Zhang Gaoli said China and Saudi Arabia are comprehensive strategic partners, and bilateral ties have entered a new era since the leaders of both countries exchanged visits last year.
Zhang also said China supports Saudi Arabia's effort to maintain stability and security, and would like to engage in major joint projects in production and investment.
Falih, who is also the special envoy of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, said Saudi Arabia values its traditional friendship with China, and is willing to use both China's Belt and Road Initiative and Saudi Arabia's "2030 Vision" to benefit the people of both countries.
