The 13th National People's Congress started the sixth plenary meeting of its first session Sunday morning. Deputies voted to decide on new leaders for national institutions.

Li Keqiang has been nominated by Xi Jinping as candidate for Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. Zhang Youxia and Xu Qiliang have been nominated for Vice Chairmen of the Central Military Commission. And candidates for members of the Central Military Commission have also been announced -- they include Wei Fenghe, Li Zuocheng, Miao Hua and Zhang Shengmin. Meanwhile Yang Xiaodu has been nominated for Director of the National Supervisory Commission, Zhou Qiang for the President of the Supreme People's Court, and Zhang Jun for the procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
