A car driving at high speed killed two and injured three when it slammed into stopped vehicles in Haikou, south China's Hainan Province on Tuesday.
Footage shot by a bus-mounted camera showed the car dashing at high speed across an intersection and hitting a person riding an electric bicycle in the opposite lane, then ramming into another car and the bus. The car turned on its side after hitting two pedestrians.
Local police said the driver and the electric bike rider died in hospital. They said tests showed however the driver was not drunk or under the influence of drugs while driving.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
