One of China's 100 most-wanted fugitives has been arrested, anti-corruption authorities said on Tuesday.
Zhou Jiyang, who worked for the Communist Party Committee in east China’s Zhejiang Province, was arrested on December 1, according to the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI). It did not say where he was arrested.
Accused of contract fraud, Zhou fled the Chinese mainland to Hong Kong in December 2008.
In April 2015, the CCDI published a list of 100 most-wanted fugitives. Half of the people on the list have now been taken into custody.
