At least three people were injured when a busy market selling construction supplies outside Moscow caught fire on Sunday, local health authorities have said.
The blaze, which reportedly broke out in the afternoon, covered an area of about 55,000 square meters, leading to the evacuation of over 3,000 shoppers and staff.
Pictures and videos taken at the scene show thick black plumes of smoke billowing into the air.
Traffic near the scene was temporarily affected, witnesses have said.

Equipped helicopters were dispatched to dump water over the burning venue.
The fire is now under control, according to emergency services.
Investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway, but Russian news agency TASS reported that investigators do not rule out the possibility of arson, citing a source from law enforcement agencies.
