As the Spring Festival approaches, the railway passenger flow continues to run at a high level. Preliminary statistics showed that yesterday alone saw 9.39 million railway trips across the country. Total railway trips have exceeded 100 million since the beginning of the rush. 944 temporary trains have been added with 16 night-time high-speed rails running between the southern cities. Passenger flow for civil aviation is relatively stable. On the highways, the number of those driving their own cars is increasing, taking up over 20% of all cross-city travel.
