Basketball fans in China's capital Beijing geared up for a confrontation between the city's two teams with the Beikong Fly Dragons hosting the Beijing Ducks.
Adding even more spice to this encounter was the fact that it was former Ducks star Stephon Marbury's first game against his former team after the two-time NBA All-star switched sides in the off-season.
40-year-old Marbury helped his new team, the Fly Dragons, earn a 113-105 victory over the three-time champions, which Beikong hopes will spark a changing of the ranking in the city.

Beikong holds a record win in their short history and even though the ball was in the Duck's court on the former NBA all-star's contact at the end of last season, there was no hard feelings and no extra sweetness.
"I just wanted to win. They are a good team. They want to make a run. But we made the plays we wanted to play at the end," said Marbury, Beikong guard.
