Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has met his Swiss counterpart Ignazio Cassis in Beijing. The ministers held the first round of the Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue between the two countries. The mechanism aims to further boost the innovative strategic partnership established in 2016. The two sides hope to beef up cooperation in innovation, the economy, global financial governance, and people-to-people exchanges. This is Cassis's  first visit to China, since he took office in November.
