Two people were killed after a helicopter crashed in woodland in southwest Charlottesville, in the US state of Virginia on Saturday afternoon, according to local media.
This accident happened a few hours after a car rammed into a crowd of people opposing a far-right rally in the same state, leaving at least one killed and 35 injured.
There are some reports saying that the helicopter was a police chopper monitoring the violent clashes, but authorities have yet to confirm that as there has been no indication that this was related to the violence.
The state police said the National Transportation Safety Board and Virginia State Police are investigating the crash.
