Three dead, 12 injured in E. China subway building accident

Three people were killed and 12 injured when a cable transporting vehicle overturned inside a subway tunnel during construction work on Friday morning in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, the subway company announced.
The incident reportedly happened at 6:00 a.m. local time inside a subway line 11 tunnel. One worker died at the scene and the other two in hospital. The 12 injured were all in stable condition with seven still being treated in hospital.
The construction operation has been suspended now and an investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
