China’s Ministry of Commerce on Thursday introduced the relevant conditions of China's consumption and service trade in the first two months of 2018 during a regular press conference.
China’s Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Gao Feng also responded to a question if the US will impose tariffs on Chinese products before June.
Gao said the Ministry of Commerce noted the relevant remarks of the US, and China’s position has not changed.
China hopes that the US will recognize the situation, follow the historical trend of economic globalization and trade and investment liberalization, he said.
China urges the US to abandon unilateralism and trade protectionism, taking practical measures to resolve differences through dialogue and consultation, and truly safeguard the good situation of China-US economic and trade cooperation, Gao added.
