Minister of Education Chen Baosheng reflected on comments made in General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report to the CPC 19th National Congress, during which he emphasized the achievements made in developing education in China’s central, western and rural regions, saying that education has taken on more Chinese features in the past five years. He also said the enrollment rate in preschools is to be increased during Sunday’s press conference about Chinese people’s livelihood.
