Turkey also reacted harshly to Trump's decision. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan called it legally and ethically unacceptable. CGTN's Michal Bardavid tells us more from Istanbul.
MICHAL BARDAVID ISTANBUL "Following US President Donald Trump's decision to pull out from the Iran deal many global Powers criticised this decision. One harsh reaction also came from Turkey. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan stated that the one to lose would be the US. Erdogan stressed that this move would not only affect the region but the entire World. The Turkish President also pointed out that this was unacceptable both legally and ethically saying that international mechanisms that bear your signature need to be respected and not annulled. The Turkish Foreign Ministry also issued a statement saying that Iran's nuclear program should be resolved through diplomacy and negotiations. Turkey's EU Affairs Minister Ömer Çelik also pointed out that there is no evidence that Iran is violating the agreement, Turkey has been intensely cooperating with Iran regarding the Syrian conflict together with Russia as they have been carrying out trilateral peace efforts.
