One killed, 16 injured after truck collides with school bus in central China

One student was killed and 16 people were injured after a school bus collided with a truck in Ningxiang City, central China’s Hunan Province on Tuesday afternoon, Xinhua News Agency reported citing local authorities.

The school bus was carrying 17 people, including 15 pupils, when a truck lost control and crashed into it. Of those injured, 14 are students.

Investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
