Chinese aviation authorities have announced that the new international airport in the Chinese capital, Beijing employ intelligent features. An official explained what this would entail at a press conference today.

ZHANG RUI DEPUTY DIRECTOR, DEPARTMENT OF AIRPORT CIVIL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION OF CHINA "We are making the Beijing Daxing International Airport a model for intelligent airports. It has adopted various new smart technologies. For example, all security check channels will adopt facial recognition technology. The airport will also adopt an R-F-I-D luggage tracking system, which will allow passengers to track their luggage through an app on their cellphone."
