Earlier we spoke with Mr. Li Wei, the director of the Institute of America and Oceania Studies, at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation. Mr. Li gave an in-depth interpretation of the China-US joint statement on trade, while also looking at some possible structural adjustments in economics between the two sides. Take a listen.

Secondly, we will see more imports of the US products which the US enjoys competitive advantages. And I think we have more potential in services cooperation between the two countries."
