US successfully tests intercontinental ballistic missile

The US military has successfully tested an unarmed intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on Wednesday, just days after the DPRK launched its second ICBM.
The missile was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in southern California and traveled approximately 6,900 kilometers.
Washington says the test demonstrates that the United States’ nuclear enterprise is ready to defend America and its allies.
