Writing 'the leadership of the Communist Party of China is the defining feature of socialism with Chinese characteristics' into the Constitution reflects that the CPC leadership is fundamental, all-around, and keeps pace with the times," said Shen Chunyao, chairman of the Commission for Legislative Affairs of the 12th NPC Standing Committee, at a news conference on China’s constitutional amendment on Sunday.
