One of the most important tasks for this year's Two Sessions is work related to constitutional amendments. According to official sources, the proposed amendments will proceed under established principles, such as those followed by the Chinese Communist Party leadership, and extensively solicit opinions. Fred Teng from the America China Public Affairs Institute has joined the Two Sessions as an overseas observer for the CPPCC.
