The Blue Team representing China defeated China Hong Kong in a 2019 FIBA World Cup Group A qualifier game in Hong Kong on Monday.
The Blue team lost to New Zealand on Friday.
The Blue Team had a wonderful beginning as Guo Ailun's layup helped enlarge the team's lead to six points. Later Guo made it by nailing a trey to give his team a 12-nil lead. Han Dejun found Wu Qian whose jumping triple helped increase the edge to 17 before the first quarter ended 33-15.
Hong Kong battled back in the second quarter as Liang Manhung canned a three at the corner, cutting the gap to 16. But that was far from enough as Han was linked with Wu again, who gave another three before the first half ended 57-37.
The Blue continued the momentum as Guo connected to Li Gen for a three to increase the lead to 30 points. And their advantage was added to 41 after Wu linked to Han on the run for the layup.
China Hong Kong was not able to come back while trailing over 50 points in the fourth. The Blue Team won the game 111-58.
