Pardew's brief tenure at West Brom came to an end after little more than four months at the club. A 2-1 defeat at home by Burnley on Saturday was their eighth successive league defeat and left them 10 points from safety with just six games remaining. The Midlands side had just one league win in 18 games under Pardew, collecting just eight points from a possible 54. The former Newcastle and Crystal Palace manager, was appointed last November following the sacking of Tony Pullis after a run of 10 Premier League games without a win. First-team coach and ex-Albion captain Darren Moore will now take charge on an interim basis.
