A 494-meter-long, 85-meter-high pedestrian bridge was inaugurated on Saturday in southern Switzerland near the famous ski resort of Zermatt.
According to the local tourism board, it is the world's longest suspension bridge for pedestrians.
Held up with eight tonnes of cables and only 65 centimeters wide, the bridge connects the villages of Graechen and Zermatt, at the foot of Switzerland's highest mountain and near the world famous Matterhorn peak.
