With joy showing on the face of everyone who partook in her crowded pre-wedding photos, Luo Zhonghua – the pretty figure wearing white – won countless cheers and blessings from Chinese Internet users.
Luo has dedicated the last three years of her life to teaching kids in an isolated valley in southwest China's Guizhou Province. With her wedding nearing, Luo decided to mark her lifetime romance with not only her boyfriend but also the 12 kids she has been teaching and caring for.

The young couple had their pictures snapped as a dozen of energetic children surrounded them. Despite their ordinary setting, netizens hailed the photographs as the "most beautiful" pre-wedding pictures.
Lishu Primary School, a village school where Luo works, has 166 students. One in every four students is a left-behind child whose parents had left for bigger cities to make a living.

After graduating from college in east China’s Zhejiang Province, Luo decided to return to her hometown and do her share in educating young people in remote areas. She launched an account online a year ago to connect the children with the world outside the isolated village.
The WeChat account “dsdnbsh (beyond the mountains lies the sea)” has been an active “bridge” between the school children and those who could help them.
Kind-hearted individuals, philanthropists and NGOs were able to reach the kids and provide them with what they need by donating to the account. Meanwhile, Luo has been documenting her life with her students, and writing poems that were inspired by her experience with them.

“My pictures might not be the fanciest with dream-like settings, but they are quite meaningful to me. I’d love to invite more attention if I can to (the issue of) left-behind kids,” Luo said.
