The fourth China-Africa Media cooperation Forum has opened in Beijing. It's drawn over two hundred people looking to boost cooperation and understanding. Wei Lynn Tang has the story.
WEI LYNN TANG BEIJING The 4th Forum on China-Africa Media Cooperation aims to enhance communication between government departments and media organizations from China and African countries.
It also comes ahead of the 2018 China-Africa Cooperation Forum which will also happen Beijing in September.
Over 260 attendees are here at this Media Cooperation Forum including government ministers, heads of broadcasters as well as international organizations; from more than 40 African countries.
Discussions at the forum will touch on: - Media Policies Exchanges - Discourse Right Building of China-Africa Media - Media Digitalization & Content Industry Development.
